Shikha Patni is Assistant Professor in Podar Institute of Technology.  She is  Ph.D. University of Rajasthan, Jaipur,  2008, M.Sc. (Zoology) specialization in Cancer Biology from International College for Girls, Mansarovar, Jaipur.  Her main area of research interest is radiation protection by plant extracts with special reference to study on the antioxidant activity of Flaxseed and Sesame on brain of Swiss albino mice. She has published 14 papers and has attended 8 conferences. She has received Young Scientist Award in Oral Presentation in the National Conference on Environmental and Natural Disaster Management, Nov, 2005, Jaipur. She has also won prize in Cancer poster competition organized by Rajasthan Cancer Society and Gargi Award.
